Fairview Christian School is a small private Christian school located in the north end of Seattle in the Maple Leaf Community. Established by Fairview Church in 1985, with a high commitment to quality education and a biblical worldview. The school strives to model and teach excellence in: academics, spiritual growth, and commitment to service. Students, faculty, and parents are encouraged to interact with each other providing a strong sense of community, adding variety to a child's learning experience. Middle School students engage in leadership training that develops skills that enrich learning as well as prepares them for the future.

Partnering with parents in raising children who love God is a great privilege. Many families are finding it hard to meet the economic pressures of living in a metropolitan area like Seattle. Before and after care of your child, as well as full-time daycare for those younger than school age relieves the pressure. The caring, loving, nurturing staff of the childcare programs give parents a sense of peace knowing that their child is safe, cared for, and loved. In addition, there are many resources and classes available to parents that will further support their family.

Class size is a range between 20-22 students for Elementary and Middle School classes with a 1 to 10 teacher/student ratio for Pre-Kindergarten, and a 1 to 7 teacher/student ratio for Preschool. Each student is assured of careful, thoughtful instruction in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, music, health science and more. Students are encouraged to strive for academic excellence and must meet grade level expectations in order to pass into the next grade. Children grow and develop, learning to think and act within a developmentally based education system with a curriculum that permits children to excel at their own pace. FCS students have won awards in science and language arts, and students who graduate continually write back expressing how well they were prepared for the next step in their education. The opportunities that Fairview Christian School offers to parents and students are unique in the Seattle area thanks to an exceptionally qualified faculty, excellent facility, and Christian environment.
