Carlisle School, founded in 1968 is a non-profit, nonsectarian, independent, coeducational college preparatory school for students in preschool through 12th grade. An International Baccalaureate World School, Carlisle is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools (VAIS), the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and is recognized by the Virginia Board of Education as an accredited school.
