The Brook Hill School is a vibrant, independent Christian Day/Boarding school, on a beautiful 180-acre campus just south of Tyler, TX, whose mission is to provide excellence in college preparatory education, affirm the gifts and challenge the potential of each student, and encourage students to honor God through Christ-like character.
Day and boarding students hail from the USA, as well as Angola, China, Japan, Korea, Kosovo, Mexico, South Africa, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
Accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Brook Hill is also affiliated with the Association of Christian Schools International, the College Board, National Association of Independent Schools, and National and Texas Associations of College Admission Counselors. The faculty, with over 60% holding a master's degree or higher, provides a classical education from a Christian worldview
Competitive fine arts and athletic options include art, pep band, drum line, choir, drama, and string orchestra programs alongside football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, golf, tennis, cheerleading, baseball, softball, and track.

Curricular Distinctive- Integrated History/English Program
The Brook Hill School offers a classical, liberal arts education from a Christian worldview based on universal truths, foundational principles, enduring traditions and the great literature of history taught in a multi-sensory, integrated format. Brook Hill’s history and English program focuses on an intensive study of great writings, people, events, works and ideas that have formed and reformed civilization. Normative works of our culture are studied within their historical settings helping the students understand how the works and the people who wrote them were influenced by their times. This method also reveals the universal nature of the great works, which are classics because they somehow speak to all men at all times. The upper school courses are organized chronologically, moving from ancient civilizations to modern times. Emphasis is placed upon reading, writing, and speaking/listening skills.
