Intercultura Costa Rica Language School offers a series of 18 Spanish courses designed by curriculum specialists, using interactive small groups in an environment of total immersion in Latin American culture. Classes are 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Our professors are university trained and credentialed to teach Spanish as a second language. We give all teachers further instruction on teaching in the context of total cultural immersion. We also offer our students free cultural activities, such as Latin dance classes, yoga classes, Costa Rican cooking classes, group and individual intercambios (language exchanges), and more. Our on-staff tour guide is happy to help plan trips and excursions whether individual or in groups, and we have an extensive network of homestays for students that wish to stay with host families.
