The new British International School of Ljubljana will be opening in September 2008, offering the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) in the Primary Section and (subject to approval) the CIE suite of IGCSE and A-Level/Pre-U examinations in the Secondary Section. Membership of COBIS, CEESA, ECIS and CIS will be sought as soon as possible after opening.

Charitable Status Chris Woodhead, Chairman of Cognita, has said that parents paying to privately educate their children are being ripped off as UK independent schools waste money on "frills and frippery". He also urged schools to give up their charitable status to become wholly profitmaking organisations. What do you think? |
