SHS PHILOSOPHY

The Sacred Heart School provides a knowledge and skill based curriculum with emphasis on value formation adapting the thematic approach of teaching.

SHS METHODOLOGY

As part of our goal to fully develop the student's skills, the school applies the thematic approach of teaching and is child-centered. The teachers encourage all students to be active participants in their own way of learning.

The teacher transforms her classroom into a "mini-home" environment. Child-friendly and child-centered activities are evident in all of the learning centers. Each area in the classroom is aided by different manipulatives, books and learning tools that will surely enhance the creativity and stimulate the growth and development of a child. The centers are redesigned regularly depending on the needs of the children.
