School Profile
ISM opened in September 1994 with only 34 enrolled students. It has thus grown to become world renowned and home to not only many residents of Monaco, but also international students from the four corners of the worlds. It is also the one of the Private Universities to the Royal Family of Monaco and many members of Parliament, which is an honour in itself. In August 2001, the IB Diploma authorisation was granted to the school making it's likeness and popularity soar to new heights. Not even two years later, in June 2003, the authorisation for the PYP was granted. The International School of Monaco is committed to providing its students with a balanced, academically challenging education, within the framework of the International Baccalaureate Programmes. Students will be encouraged to be motivated, life long learners and caring world citizens who are ready to take effective responsibility in a changing world.
