School Profile

Chamberlain-Hunt Academy is a co-educational, Christian, military academy. It was founded in 1879 by the Presbyterian Church, but is now independent of ecclesiastical control. It serves both boarding and day Cadets in grades seven through twelve. Chamberlain-Hunt has held continuous membership in the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools since 1911. It is also a member of the Mississippi Private School Association and the Association of Classical Christian Schools. Chamberlain-Hunt Academy is also accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International.

Chamberlain-Hunt Academy's status as a Christian, military academy puts us in a unique position in today's culture. Our statement of mission and beliefs humbly attempt to reflect the character of our Lord and Savior in our service to God. They were developed based on an understanding of the Bible as the Holy and inerrant Word of God.

Chamberlain-Hunt Academy is a school in the midst of exceptional growth and transition. Change often breeds disharmony and this cadre manual attempts to reject those temptations that split apart, and based on a clear and correct interpretation of Scripture, guide our behavior as servants and stewards in the Kingdom.
