Fourth Baptist Christian School, 900 N. Forestview Lane, Plymouth, offers a traditional, coeducational 4 year old Kindergarten through 12th program. Founded in 1966, Fourth Baptist serves students from many Twin Cities-area school districts. The school moved to a newly built, 85,000-square-foot facility in 1998.

Admission is based on the Christian testimony of the student and family, interviews and an entrance assessment. Students of either sex and any race, nationality or ethnic origin may be accepted.

Four & five year old Kindergarten classes include part-time and full-time options. Elementary classes using A Beka, Bob Jones Press and other curricula are conducted in a traditional setting of self-contained classrooms with emphasis placed on daily Bible instruction, phonics, math, reading and writing, history and music. Students also use a computer-based reading program weekly. After-school care is available.

College-preparatory secondary classes include Bible, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, chemistry, physics, language arts, foreign languages, home economics, drafting, CAD and wood shop. Students may also participate in producing the school yearbook.

All classrooms and the secondary-school computer lab have Internet capability. The school library provides filtered Internet access for reference use. Fourth Baptist's music curriculum includes elementary, junior high and senior high choir, band, hand bells and various ensembles. Extracurricular activities include soccer, volleyball, basketball, and baseball.
