Tenacre's mission is to nurture and challenge each child every day. Class sizes are small, so teachers get to know each child. Each classroom has two teachers who work as a closely knit team, which ensures more adult supervision and a student:teacher ratio of 12:1.

Team teaching allows the school to both challenge and nurture each child. Tenacre is committed to providing a thorough academic preparation for students through a well-defined program which fosters a love of learning and thinking, the confidence to take risks, and the commitment to effort.
