The Freedom School is an alternative educational program dedicated to creating a school that supports the needs and skills required of children in the 21st century and beyond. Our philosophy incorporates the democratic process and organic learning environment found at the Sudbury Valley School, which has operated since 1968 in Framingham, MA.
The objectives of the school are: to recognize children as life learners; to give the gift of independence and allow children to practice life; and to help children think expansively about themselves and their place in the world.
