School Profile

Opened in September 2011, the Prince of Wales Island International School (POWIIS) offers a British-style day and boarding education to girls and boys aged from 11 to 18. Set in a stunning rural location on the island of Penang, Malaysia, the newly built campus comprises large and spacious classrooms, 9 science laboratories, dedicated areas for art and design technology, and a 500 seater acoustic auditorium. The school's campus also offers 8 boarding residences with twin rooms and a range of boarding options, including flexi and weekly boarding. Pupils will be prepared for IGCSE and A level examinations, and ultimately for the top universities in the UK, USA, Australai and beyond.
