School Profile

Founded in 1808, Bridgton Academy is the only college preparatory school in the country that offers a postgraduate year only; we do not offer grades 9-12. Our mission is to ensure that our young men graduated with the academic skills, study skills, self-disicipline, and self-confidence necessary to succeed in college.

The result is a year that makes the difference between succeeding in college and just surviving it. A higher percentage of Bridgton Academy alumni graduate from college than the national average, and they do so in less time.
