School Profile

RMA offers what may be the most advanced curriculum in our area. Despite not having tests or grades throughout the year, our students score several grade levels above their peers on standardized placement tests. For the 2007/2008 school year our first middle school tested at college level for high school placement. We are an AMI Montessori school which is the highest standard possible in a curriculum that was scientifically designed over 50 years of research. RMA welcomes both advanced and remedial students as our curriculum is designed for the individual student's needs and allows them to accelerate their pace of learning.

Our advanced math, science and language programs are paired with a focus on in-depth studies of the arts through exposure to drama, opera, classical music and gallery exhibits. In addition RMA students receive in-depth training on social and professional development starting at age 2.5 through 14. All of this is accomplished in a fun and exciting atmosphere that encourages children to easily advance in the manner designed by Dr. Montessori.

We also strive to improve education in our community through outreach to parents and professionals to raise their education expectations. RMA offers speakers to civic, parent and religious groups that are interested in improving education for all children.
