At the heart of Worth is a compassionate community whose values and ethos are shaped by the teachings of St Benedict. In his Rule, St Benedict writes âLet things be so arranged that the strong have something to strive for and the weak may not be overburdened. Such is life at Worth. Each member of our community will have their strengths and talents challenged yet also enjoy comfort and support from everyone around them.
The school has a visible sense of purpose and a unique character that makes it distinctive and special. We share the campus with the monastery whose influence enriches our spiritual life and whose magnificent Abbey Church we use for worship.
The boys and girls who come to Worth will not only be set high expectations and be inspired to maximise their potential but they will also be motivated to reflect upon who they are and what they have to offer.
Community living is about sharing, serving, learning and growing. Worth is a vibrant and energetic community whilst also being calm and unhurried. By coming to Worth boys and girls have the opportunity to grow into young men and women who know what it means to belong and the importance of mutual respect and concern for others.
