School Profile
Westward enjoys a reputation for traditional standards and high academic achievements. Our objective is to enable the children to develop their full potential providing a solid foundation at junior level for their advancement to the best possible senior school. Our Early Years provision was awarded high quality by OFSTED and scholarships are won annually to many Senior Independent schools. An appealing purposeful syllabus which boosts the children's self esteem and presentation skills is delivered through LAMDA examinations for Years 1,2,3 and 4 and the Senior Introductory English Speaking Board examinations for Year 6, with all our children gaining merits or distinctions during the Summer term this year.
Academic achievement goes hand in hand with the development of caring personalities and individuality.There is an active Home-School Parents Association. We hold multi-faith assemblies and have contact with local churches. Every child takes part in our productions, concerts and poetry competitions. Westward's choir and orchestra frequently perform in the community.
