"They bring the energy, we realise the potential."

Warminster Preparatory School is a friendly, warm, family community. We provide an education in which "good teaching is effective in enabling pupils to achieve their potential academically".
Of course, any Head is likely to say this of his or her school - but these are not my words; they form the conclusion of our recent inspection report by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
The inspectors found what we already know to be the case: that we have an enviably positive, inclusive and supportive ethos which encourages participation, nurtures individual talent and reinforces universal values such as tolerance, respect and courtesy. "The pupils' behaviour in lessons and around the school, they wrote," is very good and there is a strong sense of cohesion in the community. The quality of care, guidance and personal development, underpinned by warm supportive relationships and mutual respect, is a strong feature of the school.
"All pupils are valued and they respond by demonstrating a thoughtful and responsible approach to other people, the environment and to charitable causes. Their life at the school is rich and rewarding, and they enjoy being at school."
We seek to encourage pupils to make the most of their opportunities, to delight in enquiry and to enjoy learning. High staff-pupil ratios and a participative culture mean that each child is supported in all areas of the curriculum - both in the classroom and via the many opportunities outside it.
Our goal, simply expressed, is to get the most out of every individual.
