School Profile

'We believe we are a leading school because we value and promote the education of each pupil and through our broad curriculum and imaginative extra curricular activities, girls are able to develop the confidence they need to fulfill their potential.'

The School

For over a hundred and fifty years Tudor Hall has valued and promoted the education of each girl who joins us. Facilities, curriculum and extra-curricular activities are updated as the educational world and the world of work changes, but the core mission- to enable every girl to be the best they can be- has remained. At Tudor each girls is treated as an individual and we seek to develop every aspect of them- academic, sporting, creative, spiritual. We also, as a boarding school, can encourage and develop co-operation and social skills and the sense of responsibility to a wider community featured in the school motto- Habeo ut Dem, 'I have that I may give'.
Academic results are excellent, sporting standards high, extra-curricular activities wide-ranging and constantly reviewed.

The Girls
With under three hundred pupils, everyone knows everyone else. Tudor Hall girls are renowned for self-confidence, energy, competence, good manners and lifelong friendships. They go on to many walks of life: via a wide range of educational institutions including Oxbridge, medical and veterinary schools and art and drama colleges, they can be found in the City, in academia, in the media, in PR and consultancy... A Tudor Hall girl may be designing your clothes, refurbishing your house, diagnosing your problem in Casualty or running her own catering business. We aim to build their skills and self-esteem: to give them the intellectual, practical and spiritual resources to apply wherever they choose to go.
