Stover School

Stover is one of the South West’s leading schools, set in 64 acres of beautiful grounds; intentionally a small, friendly day and boarding school, enjoying the benefits of a rural location with an excellent transport network. Our aim is to provide a supportive, nurturing environment enabling students to acquire excellent qualifications and the confidence to achieve their aspirations, students are happy; they thrive and flourish. We offer the best of both worlds; co-ed and single sex teaching. Our record of achieving outstanding results at GCSE and A Level is a testament to the hard work of the students and staff.



Stover provides a supportive, hardworking and purposeful atmosphere. Girls and boys are taught separately up to Year 11 and together in the Sixth Form. The emphasis is on regular work routines, independent learning, and a sense of community. Academic results are impressive and sit alongside our sporting achievements, musical talents and moral wellbeing. Stover welcomes boys and girls of mixed ability and potential whose special talents and aptitudes contribute to school life. The traditional values that are essential in later life. Stover Sixth Form Centre is separate from the rest of the school; it is well resourced for work, private studies, Higher Education Library, table tennis, pool, table football, television and kitchen. Stover offers an extensive extra-curricular programme for all interests and abilities.
