School Profile

While the pursuit of academic excellence is highly valued, the Mission Statement of the school stresses the importance of pupils having high personal self esteem as well as emphasising the importance of their religion, spiritual, social and physical development. The extensive range of activities includes dance, supervised homework and chess, considerable emphasis is placed on the creative and performing arts, staging 6 major productions a year. Pupils from Year 3 upwards are encouraged to learn a musical instrument, play in the orchestra and sing in the choir. The school has its own astro pitch, netball and tennis courts as well as a sprung floor gym and swimming pool. In addition, it has use of the outstanding sports facilities at the College one mile away.
