School Profile
We are part of The Perse family of schools that includes The Pelican and Upper School, offering continuity of education from 3 - 18. The Prep became fully co-educational in 2009.
A broad and balanced education is provided in a friendly atmosphere and we aim to ensure that all pupils make the most of their talents. We set out to achieve high academic standards and equally high standards in cultural, sporting and other aspects of the curriculum. Reliability, consideration for others, good manners and self-discipline are all highly valued.
Outstanding classroom and creative arts facilities have recently been opened and we have developed our play areas and extended our Music School to include a music technology suite.
A wide range of sports are taught including soccer, cricket, tennis, netball, cross-country and judo.
Music tuition is offered on strings, woodwind, brass, percussion, piano, group and individual recorder and singing in addition to opportunities to participate in the orchestras, bands and smaller chamber groups. Extra-curricular activities provide opportunities for drama and the technical side of drama such as lighting, sound and stage effects.
Our specialist Learning Support teacher provides extra support for pupils if necessary.
