We are part of The Perse family of schools that includes The Pelican and Upper School, offering continuity of education from 3 - 18. Our Prep day school is now admitting girls as well as boys at 7+ and 9+.
The Perse Prep School offers a broad and balanced education, provided in a friendly atmosphere. We aim to ensure that all pupils make the most of their talents. We set out to achieve high academic standards and equally high standards in cultural, sporting and other aspects of the curriculum. Reliability, consideration for others, good manners and self-discipline are all highly valued.
New classroom and creative arts facilities will be completed in August 2008. Interactive whiteboards are utilised in all classrooms around the school. New developments in hardware and software are constantly monitored to ensure that we maintain standards that are as up to date as possible.
A wide range of sports are taught including soccer, cricket, tennis, cross-country and judo.
Music tuition is offered on strings, woodwind, brass, percussion, piano, group and individual recorder and singing in addition to opportunities to participate in the orchestras and bands. Extra-curricular activities provide opportunities for drama and the technical side of drama such as lighting, sound and stage effects.
