School Profile

Introduction
Paint Pots follows the Montessori philosophy of education which recognises the importance of the early years in forming a child's character and talents for later life.

Freedom is at the heart of the Montessori philosophy and our carefully prepared and spacious open plan classrooms provide a relaxed but stimulating atmosphere in which the children are free to choose from a comprehensive range of activities. This freedom is designed to build on the child's natural desire to explore, investigate and understand their own environment. Each child learns at his/her own pace, absorbing new information and concepts naturally.

Schools
Georgina Hood opened Bayswater in 1988 alongside her first creative classes. The opportunity to take over the school in Chelsea arose in 1995. Edith Grove was the original site for the Creative Classes so it was very exciting to be able to open up a school on the same site as her successful classes. Hyde Park was a later acquisition, September 2004. The St John's Church were looking for a Montessori School to take over their hall and as Paint Pots was by then so well established it was perfect.

Creative Classes
Paint Pots House Creative classes - provides termly sessions for children from 6 months to 10 years.

Children love the atmosphere of exploration and discovery, in which everyone has fun, makes friends and learns along the way!

We aim to create happy, confident children who love what they do, to develop their experience of the senses and learn about the world around them.
A wide range of highly creative children's classes are on offer such as Baby Classes, Toddler Art & Music, Cooking, Dance, Art Craft Music & Movement, & Creative Birthday Parties.
