School Profile

The Oratory Preparatory School is a coeducational day and boarding school. The Pre-Prep department caters for boys and girls; three to seven years of age. The Preparatory School is for children from age seven (Year 3) through to thirteen (Year 8). There are currently 400 children in the school.

In both the Pre-Prep and the Preparatory School, children are in small classes; generally consisting of between 16 and 18 children. In preparing children for entry into independent senior schools, we cover a curriculum which is well-balanced and broadly based, meeting the needs of the National Curriculum and Key Stages.
