Moulsford Preparatory School is a good school which provides a good quality of education for its pupils. It has many strengths, notably the high standards attained by many pupils in all subjects, the high proportion of very good teaching pupils receive, as well as the pupils' very positive attitudes to their work. Pupils' behaviour is very good, as is the overall provision for their personal development. All pupils, including those who board, are well cared for and looked after. The various plans for the future development of the school and the changes implemented to the structure of the governing body prior to the inspection now need to be consolidated into a future development plan. A review of the roles and responsibilities of the school's senior managers is also needed. Resource provision for the younger pupils needs to be improved.
