School Profile
Set in a beautiful Georgian house on the Shropshire-Worcestershire border, Moffats provides a happy, safe environment valuing childhood. This family-run school has an ethos that children should receive unlimited encouragement in all they do, and that high academic standards are maintained without expecting more than each child's natural capacity. Good manners, kindness and respect for others are greatly valued. Small classes ensure high attention, so that each individual, whether a bright pupil or one needing more assistance, progresses at the right pace, receiving as much help as is needed.
The school's 108-acre grounds provide space not only for daily sports but also for riding, a popular option. The school carefully maintains a balance between class work and other activities, promoting cultural awareness, strengthening self-confidence and ensuring a sense of fun. Prime importance is given to the development of communication skills. Pupils regularly gain distinctions in annual ESB examinations. The school runs two choirs.
