School Profile
Manor House School is an independent, co-educational day school for children of all abilities, aged four to 16 years.
Set in a Victorian manor house in picturesque surroundings beside Ashby Castle, the school has a long and proud tradition of preparing children for every stage of their education, from Kindergarten to GCSE.
Unlike many other independent schools, Manor House School selects students on both their academic performance and their ability to fit into the school's close-knit community.
GCSE results are consistently above the national average.
Class sizes are limited to just 20 pupils, to ensure that all children receive the individual attention, help and guidance they need to succeed.
The school offers a full programme of extra curricular activities, in which sport, music and drama feature prominently.
For busy families, the school runs a breakfast club from 7.30am and an after-school club until 6pm.
Manor House School has excellent transport links to the Midlands and beyond. As a result, pupils come from a wide geographical area.
The school's unique combination of traditional values, family atmosphere and high educational standards ensures that all Manor House pupils leave the school prepared for life in today's global society.
