School Profile

The Preparatory School has its own staff and Headteacher. It is located just across the road from the senior school. The school seeks to provide a learning environment which allows pupils to develop skills and personal qualities. The curriculum is planned to encourage the children to develop lively, enquirying minds and appropriate emphasis is placed on securing for each child a firm foundation of skills in literacy and numeracy. The broad, balanced curriculum offered provides a breadth of experience which is suitable for children of primary age. High academic standards are reached by the pupils, but in addition, they are encouraged to develop skills in music, art, drama and sport. Children's happiness is considered essential and the school works closely with parents to ensure a partnership which provides the best possible care for all girls and boys.
