About INTO
Under a unique partnership model, INTO works with leading universities to develop 'on-campus' colleges that prepare international students for success at higher education worldwide.
Since we were established in 2006 our reputation has grown, and more than 5000 students enrolled in our various programmes in 2008/09. Our partners now include the Universities of East Anglia, Exeter, Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow Caledonian University, Queen's University Belfast, City University London in the UK and Oregon State University in the US.
About Newton A-levels
As part of our ongoing partnership with the University of East Anglia, we have developed the innovative Newton programme - A-levels on a university campus. The Newton Programme is aimed at ambitious students wishing to progress to Science, Mathematics or Economics related degrees at highly ranked universities. Offering much more than a standard A-level programme, Newton provides students with a first-rate academic learning environment and the help to they need to excel in their A-levels and gain a place at the university of their choice.
The University of East Anglia's impressive academic reputation underpins all Newton Programme teaching. UEA is regularly rated in the top 25 UK universities, and Newton students benefit from studying A-levels in a research-intensive environment, taught by academics at the forefront of their fields. They also get to learn alongside undergraduates in university lectures and practical laboratory sessions, benefiting from all the University's premier learning facilities.
During their studies, Newton students receive excellent pastoral care and help in applying to the university, with experienced personal tutors advising them on the university applications and admissions process. Students can also gain invaluable life skills that may enhance their careers through the Norfolk Gifted and Talent schemes, or get valuable work experience via a Nuffield Placement.
Newton students also have the unique opportunity to study and live in our purpose built study centre on UEA's picturesque campus. The study centre is designed to allow students to live and learn as a community, offering modern amenities, opportunities to socialise and make friends, and secure and comfortable accommodation. All its rooms are well furnished and include internet access and ensuite showers, and both catered and self-catered options are available. Students will also enjoy easy access to a host of UEA facilities, such as the sports centre and student's union, which are all within walking distance.
For exceptionally gifted students, there are a range of scholarships available. The value of a scholarship will depend upon a student's performance in either their GCE O-level examinations or the equivalent qualification in their home country.
