Headington is a school that takes the broad view. Academic challenge, personal development and success are important to us but so too is the opportunity to look beyond the obvious, to try the new and to have a go at a whole host of different experiences.

There is no such thing as a "typical" Headington girl. They are rightly proud of their individuality, but understand the need to combine this sense of self with other shared qualities, like thoughtfulness, tolerance, self-motivation, personal responsibility, compassion and common sense.

Behavioural Difficulties

Given that the government is paying for some of the most challenging pupils from state schools to attend private schools - would you send your child to a private school that accepts children with serious behavioural difficulties, funded by the government?
