Crookhey Hall School is a longstanding day secondary school for boys with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. It takes boys from the surrounding local authorities and provides both a wide academic and vocational curriculum. Many boys achieve recognised success in accredited courses on attending the school. The school works closely with Oakfield House primary school with a number of boys coming from there each year.
