School Profile
We are a happy, forward-looking community in which girls of all ages are flourishing. The charming historic buildings and grounds provide a backcloth of beauty and calm which really supports the aspirations of girls and staff to do well. The achievements of girls in their academic studies and in Drama, Music and Sport as well as many other extra-curricular activities are outstanding.
When parents ask me why the school is so successful I say that I believe it is the combination of good teaching, pupils' hard work and the close ties that we have with our parents. Whilst I know that academic results are important, the girls enjoy a good all round education with a strong music and drama department, exceptional sports facilities and an enrichment programme which allows the girls to try many different activities with the programme changing each term.
Our aim at Combe Bank School is to give your daughter the opportunity to shine and, when the time comes to leave Combe Bank School, we want to equip her with the knowledge and confidence necessary to take on the challenges of the outside world.
