The school started in 1982 with just two children in the headmistress's own home. Within a term there were twenty children in the Montessori nursery which had out grown the house and was moved into a local independent school with purpose built accommodation for forty children.

In September 1984, the present school was purchased, and opened with twenty children ranging from 2½ to 6 years old. Since then the school has grown rapidly and now has over 250 boys and girls from 3 months to 11 years old.Further information on Boarding Schools »
