School Profile

Beechwood Sacred Heart School is an independent co-educational school comprising Beechnuts Nursery (age 3-4), Beechwood Preparatory (age 5-11) and Senior School (age 11 - 18) with boarding for girls aged 11-18.

The school is located in 23 acres of landscaped grounds, close to the centre of Tunbridge Wells, less than one hour from London.

Founded in 1915 by the Society of the Sacred Heart, Beechwood retains a special family quality, underpinned by standards and values derived from its Catholic tradition. The school has always welcomed pupils of all religions and from many countries overseas.

Small classes and excellent pastoral care allow all pupils to develop and to excel at their individual talents. Beechwood is regularly placed in the top 10% of all schools in A-level league tables.
