Adventurous Learning to bring out the Best in Everyone

Wherever you are in Ashford School or in Ashford Friars Prep School, the most important thing that happens is learning - learning that is motivating, rewarding and stimulating and leads to success.

New facilities include our Learning Centre, Student Cafe/Atrium, new boarding houses, fitness suite and all weather Astroturf.

We have ambitious plans for the future that include further sports amenities and learning spaces. These developments coupled with our impressive academic record (2007 - 100% of students graded A*-C in 5 or more GCSE's and 100% pass rate at A-level, 10% of students going to Oxford or Cambridge, 60% to Russell Group universities and 90% of students going to their first choice university) mean that we are rapidly advancing to our goal of being one of the leading schools in the UK.

Ashford's Head, Mike Buchanan, says "If you are like me you will want to find a school that suits your child so that he or she will be happy, secure and appropriately challenged in a supportive, structured and orderly environment. Ashford offers all these things and more; hard work, order and success are the norm here. Music, sport and drama abound.

Ashford School is a diverse community where individuality is valued. We serve a variety of students from those who excel academically to those of more modest ability and we have over twenty nationalities represented.

Vitally important to our student's development is the breadth of co-curricular opportunities available. All pupils have the opportunity to discover their creativity, abilities and strengths through a range of sporting, artistic, cultural and social activities which run in parallel to their academic development. Underpinning every facet of our life is a carefully designed approach to pastoral care. These complementary elements give Ashford its distinct character."Further information on Private Schools »
