DCS stands for Denver Christian Schools, and since 1916 we have established a solid reputation for academic excellence. We are a co-educational, college preparatory Christian school, serving students from preschool through 12th grade from the greater metro Denver area and beyond. The heart of our mission is to equip children of Christian parents to serve God in His world, thus leading them to lives of discipleship in Christ.
Denver Christian Schools was founded in 1916 by a small group of Dutch immigrants firmly rooted in the Reformed vision. They established a school of distinction, where training at home and the church would be complemented. While maintaining its Christ-centered focus, Denver Christian Schools has earned a reputation for excellence and is widely known for quality Christian education. Having grown to three beautiful campuses, Denver Christian Schools has broadened its Christian service and now includes Christian families from more than a hundred and fifty congregations.

DCS Offers a Christ-Centered Academic Experience
DCS serves 760 students across its three campuses allowing for a close-knit educational experience. Weekly chapels, regular service projects and Bible classes help mature our students in their faith. Our curriculum is comprehensive and traditional in all grades and includes strong programs in music, drama, and art. Emphasis is placed on development of the ability to critique culture and to evaluate all of life from a Christian worldview.

Denver Christian Schools has established a long-held reputation for academic excellence. Our educational perspective consistently delivers superior performance, including top-level achievement on standardized tests including the SAT and ACT tests for high school students, and Iowa Tests of Basic Skills for elementary and middle school students. More than 90% of our high school graduates successfully go on to college.
DCS is Well Known for Athletic Excellence
Our fine athletic program begins in middle school where all students are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports. At the high school level, DCS is a competitive member of the Metropolitan League 3A classification. Our students compete in basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, cross country, track, baseball and golf.
