School Profile

Copper Canyon Academy is for young women ages 13 to 17 years of age. CCA utilizes all aspects of the student's life. The student focuses on improvement and awareness in five areas: Emotional, Mental Physical, Social and Spiritual. All five areas are essential to the success of the student. CCA specializes in developing Self-Esteem, Self-Awareness, Self Confidence, Self Reliance and Self Management in their students. CCA offers the following services: Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, a powerful series of student seminars, parent seminars and family seminars designed to build self-esteem, accountability, self-awareness, and integrity; Students are able to participate in Equine Therapy, Canine Therapy, Equestrian Riding, Choir, Drama, Dance, Art, Yoga as well as a number of other exciting programs; A fully accredited college prep academic curriculum; Students and staff work together to develop a community of warmth, respect, mutual cooperation, friendship, leadership, and love. CCA offers an extensive physical fitness program as well as competitive sports are available. Students discover who they are and learn to share themselves with people they come into contact with. A transition program assesses the student's readiness to return home. Each student learns to confront the past and look forward to the future by following a very proven trail to success.
